Haunted Masquerade is a gothic romance set during a single night at a supernatural ball. Every guest hides behind a mask. Every dance is a test. Your ability to connect is measured not by dialogue choices alone, but by your sense of rhythm.

You arrive as an invited guest among vampires, ghosts, demons, and other unseen things—each searching for a partner before the night ends. Choose carefully. Midnight is approaching.

This is not a dating sim about schedules, meters, or grinding affection.
It is a story-driven rhythm game where performance is communication.

The Midnight Waltz

The ball culminates in the Midnight Waltz—a brutal endurance gauntlet that determines your fate.

Fail, and the consequences are real:

• Public humiliation

• Cold rejection

• Or death

But death is not the end.

Haunted Masquerade is built around a looping structure. Each failure reveals new information, altered dialogue, and hidden truths about your chosen partner—and about yourself. What you learn carries forward into the next attempt.

Survival is understanding.
Understanding comes from listening, watching, and keeping time.

The Guests

At launch, Haunted Masquerade features six supernatural characters, each with their own rhythm style, personality, and possible outcomes.

Every guest dances differently.
Every guest wants something different from you.

Your connection with a character is shaped by:

• How you perform during shared dances

• How you respond under pressure

• What you learn—and remember—across loops

Some characters reward precision. Others test endurance, restraint, or trust. No two paths play the same.

Ongoing Additions

Haunted Masquerade is designed as an expanding masquerade.

Additional characters, storylines, and dance variations are planned for future updates. New guests will bring:

• New rhythm patterns and mechanics

• New narrative themes

• New endings and new ways to fail

Each character is a complete, self-contained story that integrates naturally into the existing structure.
